The Rest API encountered unexpected results when upgrading to woocommerce 4.0

After the update and getting to the woo database updates, pending scheduled events were never executed and it has been more than 20 hours. Looking at Site Health section, it shows scheduled event, action_scheduler_run_queue, failed to run.

and it shows The Rest API encountered unexpected results
The REST API call gave the following unexpected result: (401) {“code”:”rest_forbidden_context”,”message”:”Sorry, you are not allowed to edit posts in this post type.”,”data”:{“status”:401}}.

Now what should I do? WC 3.9.2 was more stable I guess and honestly who cares about new reports on dashboard that never worked at first place…

Ant advice?

I broke Elementor

I’m new to WordPress and Elementor. I wanted to change my page title and made the mistake of using the WordPress editor to change the page title. I also changed the menu name in the menu section under appearance. After I messed this up I did see the right way to do it in the Elementor editor. I tried to use the WordPress feature of rolling back the edit. The content changed, but Elementor still wouldn’t work.

A plugin that seems not to work

I had try to use it several times, along the last months, and it never worked. I digged deeper today, and getting a closer look I get
“InstagramAPI\Response\LoginResponse: Challenge required.” error when trying to connect my wordpress install to my Instagram account through the plugin.

The length of similar messages from other users on the help/support page https://wordpress.org/support/topic/instagramapiresponseloginresponse-challenge-required/ make me think the people behind this plugin are not serious. My advice, try it, don’t buy the paid version.

Ajax search result position problem

Hi there, thank you very much for the wonderful plugin.

I am using it for all the places on my site. I just counter a problem, when I control the search bar to the center, the Ajax search result frame is not followed.

I first used the css to full width the search bar and then control some particular search bar to fixed px, is that causing the problem?

The following code I used:

.is-search-form label {
    width: 100%;
}

.is-form-style input.is-search-input {
    width:100%;
}

.is-form-id-100000160 input.is-search-input {
    width: 800px;
    margin: 0 auto;
    display: table;
}

Categories names overlay

Before Footer not working, I think

Not sure if I understand the ‘Type of Template’ correctly. If I selected Before Footer, then what I create should show before the footer section (footer widgets and footer bar) of the theme, correct?

If Yes, then it’s not working for me. My created template loads, except the Footer Bar is missing.

Or, am I not understanding the Type of Template.

Eg: Instead of

Be like

Site C

2. Option to show description/profile of each site
3. Wrap text on site name & profile/description

In Context Checkout Not Redirecting

Hello,

This is an amazing plugin however I’m having one issue.

If I enable ‘In Context Checkout’ under sandbox everything works great, however when I switch to live and try to make a payment, it goes into an infinite loading screen at the very last stage before the context window closes, literally the end of the payment.

Any suggestions would be more than welcome!

I have a staging site I can provide login details to upon request if you’d like to get in and see whats happening.

I am running the latest version of Insert Pages (3.5.2) and am getting two (possibly related) errors.

When I enter the editor (before I’ve tried to insert a page), I get a debugging message:

Notice: WP_Block_Type_Registry::register was called incorrectly. Block type "insert-pages/block" is already registered. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 5.0.0.) in /srv/data/web/vhosts/unavoidabledisaster.com/htdocs/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4986

When I add an Insert Pages block in the standard Gutenberg editor, as soon as I specify the page to insert (even if it is a standard post), the block says:

Error loading block: Invalid parameter(s): attributes

Strangely, I can publish it or preview it and it looks fine.

If I insert a page that has my CPT on it, again I can publish or preview the page with an inserted CPT page, but if I return to the editor, I get a blank page with the former error across the top.

Any suggestions?

My site is meant for my country, and I didnt want any spammers from anywhere else.
I simply blocked all countries except mine…. and I am done….
All the admin job got reduced to less than 5% !!

Custom Sorting

I installed and configure plugin, but I’ve notice that the only way the pages are sorted is alphabetically. I even adjusted the settings to a different sorting option such as by date or by menu order (https://www.screencast.com/t/GSWI8pbut6B3) but there is no changes on the display of the pages on sitemap.
I have check the Topic trend wherein you have mention that you will include on future plugin update for the option adding them (pages) in a particular order: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/sorting-possibility/
