Broken Functions(dot)php File – Deleted File, Still Get WSoD

I try to add a function in my functions(dot)php file and got a white screen of death.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/powergen1/public_html/advancedmed.us/wp-content/themes/zerif-lite/functions.php on line 1314

I downloaded a fresh copy of the theme and uploaded a new functions file using FileZilla ftp. I continued to get the same error code.

I deleted the theme folder entirely…still the same error code.

I cleared all my browsers’ cache, tried different browsers, same error code.

Tried to change my theme to the default twentysixteen using myphpadmin in my cpanel and I still get the same error code. It’s still trying to load the functions file from the zerif-lite theme?!

I’ve deleted the entire theme folder, why is it still saying there’s an error code in that file?!

If anyone can help I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you!!!
