Hello,
First of all thank you all for maintaining this forum alive 😉

I am running a website https://www.belleville-editions.com with 3 wordpress, but this issue is just on one of them.

I had this message from my host ovh.com :

You exceeded the limit of 100 connections to the Facebook API per minute on :
2016-10-13 17:35:02 -> 119 connexions.

In the event of abuse, Facebook may temporarily block IP addresses shared by all shared web hosting plans.
If you do not take action, we may be forced to temporarily suspend access to your website.

Please check your logs to find the script that is generating these connections, and then patch the issue. Â You may access your logs in the Control Panel under Hosting > Statistics.

So I checked where the traffic was coming from and it’s 99% from robots like google, creating peeks of api connections.

As I don’t want to block them via .htaccess. I have actually no clue where the issue is coming from.

If it could be of any help, here is a list of my plugins :
– akismet 3.2
– all in one seo pack 2.3.10.2
– Better Font Awesome 1.6.0
– CMB2 2.2.2.1
– Contact Form 7 4.5.1
– Easy HTTPS (SSL) Redirection 1.5
– EWWW Image Optimizer 3.1.1
– Instagram Slider Widget 1.3.3
– Login LockDown 1.7.1
– MailChimp pour WordPress 4.0.6
– Ramble Theme Portfolio 1.0
– Ramble Theme Shortcodes 1.0
– Redux Framework 3.6.2
– Regenerate Thumbnails 2.2.6
– Social Warfare 2.0.7
– WooCommerce 2.6.5

I just don’t get it, if anyone can give me a track…

Many thanks.

Fred
