Hello,
I am very new at using WordPress and its plugins so please forgive my ignorance.
My business department contacted me about a problem with our WooCommerce cart submitting multiple orders for people who were purchasing items from the store page. After looking into it for a while, and placing a few test orders, I realized that the problem is the checkout page WooCommerce form.
After entering their personal and credit card info, the user clicks the “Place Order” button. By checking the Orders in the dashboard under WooCommerce, I can see that the order went through and we have their information, but on the front end, there is an error message. On Chrome it is just a red exclamation point (!) circle and on Firefox, once it said 500 Internal Server Error after the exclamation point icon.
The user sees this error and tries to click the “Place Order” button again and it resubmits their info and charges their credit card again, but still gives the user an error message.
It is very important that this gets resolved soon, so I would appreciate any thoughts on what the problem may be. I can find and info on what versions of plugins we use if that is important.
Thank you.
