text area input email template code

Hi,

A woocommerce product of ours (gift voucher) has a text area input for a message to the gift voucher recipient. Although the message is showing in the order emails associated with woocommerce, how would i add this message input text to an woocommerce add on plugin (that produces and sends the gift voucher) email template?

Any help would be appreciated.
