Context: I’ve been getting the “Error Establishing Database” error pretty frequently with wordpress.org hosted on an EC2 instance, so I did the swapfile trick and stopped/started my instance. This broke the link to my hostgator as the IP is now different.
1.) I pointed to the new IP in hostgator, but it still doesn’t load the page “This site cannot be reached”.
2.) If I manually type in the IP to the browser, the page loads, but very slowly, and none of the CSS, Plugins, nor jquery loads. Although, I suspect this will be resolved once the host is fixed because the errors all point to (mydomain)/wp-content/…etc.
Anybody can point me into the right direction on this issue? Thanks
