Hi,
Upon placing orders on my website, the client can complete the order by clicking the “Check out with PayPal” icon, or the client can first review the order by clicking “View Cart.”
If you click “Check out with PayPal,” the PayPal button automatically adds another quantity of the item. However, clients won’t become aware of this until redirected to the PayPal website and inputting their login credentials.
Therefore, I came across this error after doing a test appointment, and I noticed the additional quantity added to the cart each time without manually doing so.
However, if you choose “View Cart,” the quantity remains as the amount initially selected from the onset of placing the order. Therefore, “View Cart” has the correct order quantity, but the option to check out via PayPal will add an additional quantity to the order.
What would be the case of this? In other words, why does it automatically add an extra quantity to the order simply by clicking “Check out with PayPal?” As you can see, this is quite disastrous for my business.
