The data layer for Enhanced Ecommerce just has a ‘id’ attribute for product which currently is set to the WooCommerce product id. When a WooCommerce product or product variation has a SKU entered I would expect to see the product SKU in the data layer instead of the current product id.
There is a setting for this for the Google AdWords dynamic remarketing variables to allow for this. But this setting does not seem to have any effect on the Enhanced Ecommerce data layer. At least not for SKUs set on a product variation level.
Is this a known issue by any chance? And if so, will this be fixed in the near future?
