Hey everyone,
I recently exported my wordpress.com website onto wordpress.org. Despite being told this is an easy process, it’s been a nightmare since each attempted import only gives me SOME of the posts, SOME of the media, etc.
One thing that didn’t import properly were the category and comment counts.
I found this article online
http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-category-and-comment-count-after-wordpress-import
which explained my problem exactly, so I followed the instructions, changed the DB_HOST, DB_USER, DB_PASSWORD and DB_NAME portions of the code as told, and when I tried to access the file on my browser, I got this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘include’ (T_INCLUDE) in /home2/[removed]/public_html/comments-fix.php on line 4
I have zero coding experience but I can’t find a missing ; } or ” anywhere. Can anyone please tell me how I can fix this error? It’s driving me mad trying to figure this out.
