So, I logged into my ‘wp-admin’ portal this morning and was going to update to the newest WordPress. I had a failure right away because one of my directories wasn’t owned by me. I changed that and restarted. It got mostly done and failed because of ‘wp-includes’ or a different folder anyway not being owned by me. I corrected that by changing ALL the folders to my permission — but it was too late. Now my ‘wp-admin’ pages only load BLANK. I get asked for login/password at least, but blank after.
I tried restoring the old files and even tried extracting the newest download files into the directory to overwrite — same result.
What’s my next step to fixing this boo-boo?
